FDR Park Ambassadors

Who they are

A Community Ambassador is more than a Volunteer. They are hand selected community members who provide nature programming to those outside of the typical demographic served. FDR Park Ambassadors are representative of the true diversity of FDR Park and Philadelphia and help underserved communities have free, accessible and relatable nature programming. They are expanding FDR’s 2023 slate of free, public programs (including fishing, boating, gardening, archery, birdwatching, tree identification, and nature arts and crafts) into the largest one to date.
