As active stewards and advocates for FDR Park we make it our mission to support one of the greatest urban parks in America, rooted in the ideals of diversity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
This year alone, our stewardship team and dedicated volunteers have spent over 6,000 hours caring for our park, removed 75,000 square feet of invasive plants, broke ground on the Food Forest, and redesigned and established the Learning Garden.
We are already looking toward 2026, and are making it our goal to continue to build upon the biodiversity and environmental resilience of South Philly’s watershed park.
That is why this giving Tuesday, we are giving back and planting 1 pollinator plant for every $10 raised. These pollinator plants will expand our native pollinator gardens, supporting climate resilience in South Philly’s largest green space.
Help us reach our goals and show your support this Giving Tuesday by donating today.
